EVERYONE is invited and there will be a special recognition of the 1986 team to celebrate the 40 year anniversary of FIT’s first Men’s Overall Championship Trophy at the Dad Vail Regatta where all six entries won a medal. FFRA is planning to make this year’s regatta very special with hosting a Social Event on Friday evening, a tent at the race course where we can all socialize and cheer on the crews, followed by a after race dinner nearby the course.
To make the trip even more memorable, we are organizing an alumni boat(s) to compete in the 500 meter Alumni race at the regatta. It’s “only” 500 meters! Let us know if you are interested when you RSVP.
The regatta is a great opportunity to see your old buddies and reminisce and laugh about our times rowing together. Details below. Please RSVP as to whether you will be attending the Social and/or the Regatta so we can plan properly. We request you RSVP and/or purchase your ticket by April 14th. (If you have to cancel at the last minute, the purchase price will be donated to the rowing programs. We also have conservatively priced the tickets. Any excess money will go the the teams).
